Super bummed. It’s an awesome program, but after weeks of fighting with it, I can’t get my tablet to register whatsoever with it on Mac. ;o; i just want sensitivity… Krita is useless to me without pressure sensitivity.
I’m only going to have my macbook for 4 weeks, and don’t have another license to put CS6 on it, so I really need this to work. I have an Intuos3. Has anyone had any success getting Krita to recognize tablet sensitivity input on mac?
Turn on or off the openGL.
We’re really busy to get tablet support/OGL working for OSX as we speak. The first 3.0 alpha will have all this hard work.
(The reason we have trouble is because OSX is super-picky about what openGL commands you use. We used to use something called compatability profile, which was easier to use for us programmers, but Apple’s drivers don’t like that, hence the bugs. We’re trying out something called core profile, which’ll hopefully fix the problem, though it’s more difficult to maintain)
Gotcha. I saw a post mentioning toggling OpenGL, but so far that hasn’t netted any success for me. Looks like I have to wait and hope.
It works fabulously on my desktop (which is running Windows 10,) but I’m going to be abroad for a few months (go me for writing weeks) and won’t have it.
