artbyriana:

I finally managed to acquire a poncho in the style of the ones my characters in my comic wear and these are the first in a series of studies of it I’m making. Ponchos are very unusual and it’s wonderful that I no longer have to guess how they look if I’m caught with a strange pose.

EDIT 2/2/2018::: I don’t know if anyone looks at this original post anymore but the dailyriana tumblr is now @artbyriana. Thanks!

You think south east asian countries such as Singapore are leading in terms of integrating elements of nature into their architecture

solarpunk-aesthetic:

I don’t think I’m qualified to say who’s leading, but many of the most impressive examples of green architecture I’ve seen are in Southeast Asia. In particular, there are a lot of beautiful things in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore. I think we should all find some inspiration in that.

On a personal note, my family’s from Singapore, and it’s pleasing to see some of the things that have been accomplished over there!
