Um another WIP. I’m very pleased with how it came out. Things like doors and windows I added as tokens (furniture too!) so that they would be interactable.

One thing I’ve experimented with is granting all players “control” over tokens like lamps and stuff in the environment that they would be able to manipulate easily. It’s led to more people realizing “hmm that lamp still has oil in it! I can start a fire!” and creative uses like that.

Textures, as before, are from CG Textures.

I don’t upload stuff like this generally, but I figured it was neat enough to share. This map will probably change heavily before I use it, but I’m proud of it so far. Textures are primarily from CG textures. :0

This is a pretty early image. There’ll be more buildings when I’m done, and I may change how the farmland bits are re-partitioned. Eventually there will be small vegetable farms as well. Hm. And I’ll do a partial paint over to fine-tune where I don’t like how pure texture work came out.

Well, not an update on the half orc (sorry, Freja!) but I’m working on getting a ref sheet together for a character that’s needed one for a loooooong time. Elevar Ongluth.

Who’s body type has apparently confused so many people that YES, he’s getting a reference sheet so that I can just link it and go “like this.”

Elevar Ongluth, who…has for a long time just been referred to as “the fat elf,” in my D&D games, was the noble born sun elf wizard I played in what wound up being my first 3.5 game in a few years. We’ve since converted to Pathfinder, but it’s been a great game all in all, and a fantastic continuous world for the game I’m running now.

…which he’s an NPC in.

So, ref sheet, GO!

Eventually this will be something. Very sketchy wip

Started a sketch of one of the many half orc NPCs in the campaign I’ve been running, Freja. Her human blood runs a bit more strongly in her than in some of the other half orcs in setting, but she certainly inherited a more orcish frame. (Vs Theda, another half orc female I’d also like to illustrate, who’s far more orcish in features.)

Originally she had a shirt. Couldn’t get it right, decided I didn’t like it, erased it, and now she’ll eventually have armor. ..but at this point I don’t know how much of her will be covered vs not covered or whatnot, so I’m just going to base render everything and then paint clothes on top, I guess. …I also actually really like how i rendered her torso and am sort of sad it’ll be covered up. She at least LOOKS like a woman who indeed spends most of her day chopping wood for the smokehouse where she works. I’m pleased with that.

Hi. I haven’t posted much here recently and I am trying to correct that. šŸ˜€

Still trying to iron out what I want her to look like.

She’s an old character of mine, Felicia DeVores. She used to look pretty ridiculous but I’ve been since redesigning her and I can’t…settle on hair I’m happy with. I think I’ve changed her lips/brows/eyes like 3 different times. Eventually I’ll be happy with a design.

She’s a necromancer, and originally worshiped Evening Glory, but I don’t know if that will stick, either.

Pseudodragon. I’m actually going to be playing one in a Pathfinder game. Pen doodle. Also known as what happens when I have 10 minutes of downtime due to double Aces during a league game because ARAM SHOULD NOT LAST LONGER THAN AN HOUR.
