Hey guys

My mother was recently stolen from, so if anyone is wanting quick commissions I’m open for quick stuff to try to help out.

She’d JUST cashed her check and whoever it was got every last scrap of cash from her purse. This isn’t a “dire straights we’re going to be starving on the streets,” situation, but this is a “oh shit some bill payments might be late” situation and I’d like to avoid all of that if I can.

+ she’s chipped in to try to help me financially with all my medical issues and… I mean, I CAN delay going to the chiro a few more months but these nerve problems are eroding my sanity. ;-;

I don’t normally do product reviews, but!
I have to say I’m very pleased with Golden’s heavy matte gel.
When they say heavy they aren’t kidding. It’s thick, easily forms peaks, and has a consistency about like soft butter, just stickier. It provides a lovely impasto heaviness to acrylic that’s like painting with oil straight from the tube—especially with a little ZEC added.
The gel will stick ANYTHING down. I swear it grips on to inclusions and does not let go.
And it still dries in about an hour in thinner layers.
It dries to a very translucent soft white. In thin enough layers it’s clear. Mixing a small bit of gloss heavy gel and maybe a little yellow in (perhaps a pea sized dab of ochre) would make a fantastic faux encaustic medium.

Ok so I’m like notoriously disorganized…and because for some reason people actually um. Asked. Recently. Hahah…hah.

This is my main blog. It used to be a hub of general “crap I like,” and journal type posts with occasional signal boosts and was WAY better tagged once upon a time. I still highly recommend my kitties, woofers, and water slinkies tags. Birbs is also quality.
As 2016 transitioning in to 2017 has kind of been a combined time period of the world collectively losing its mind and what part HASN’T starting to wake tf up to the fact the world has always been pretty fucked, this blog has gotten very uh. Charged. I try to signal  boost what I can, not only for followers but also as a way of saving articles I need to find later. It gets in to heavy shit territory a lot and sometimes I’ll deliberately not reblog posts I know would be the tipping point for certain followers on particular days. It’s. Yikes.

TheLovingVoid is a sort of aesthetic turned in character “eldritch softness” blog. Ever want to scream in to the void? Ever want the void to lovingly embrace you and tell you that it will be ok? This is that blog. Submissions are open, ESPECIALLY if you’re an artist that does stuff you think would suit the blog. I 100% want to support artist friends. This blog is usually kept with a pretty consistent queue as my energy allows. Mostly reblogs, sometimes original content. Stars, slime, glitter. Eldritch monster stuff. Y’know.

Chimaerareferences is where I stockpile anything I want to save for later and be able to find. It used to sort of just exist as a “place where I can dump things en masse without spamming people,” but others started following it and people told me it was helpful soooo? It’s a mismash of tutorials (writing, art, coding, cooking), art I found inspirational, photography, all with tags based on what I found the images most useful for.

Chimaeracooking does NOT update often, but it’s a stockpile of recipes, random baking exploits, things I’ve cooked, occasional garden photography, and general food related tips. School means I don’t cook often at the moment, so it’ll probably update most often over holidays and summer.

Chimaerasketches is my art blog! It contains all sorts of sketches and work ranging from school projects to commissions to random crap I did while bored. Work here tends to be more finished than on my instagram, but it also contains stuff not polished enough for me to post on my Weasyl or Furaffinity. As a general rule, I post here first, then to my Weasyl, then to my Furaffinity. Instagram is updated whenever I uh. Remember it exists. And contains a lot of cat pictures and dumb selfies.
