This was the largest all in one pour I’ve ever done. I’d estimate 125oz of paint all at once.

Before I’d been pouring in sections. It made it difficult to match edges of the pour well, but I had to avoid large pours or the canvas would sag.

My solution was to construct a temporary brace beneath the canvas to support it, letting me mix a LOT more paint at once for a much more continuous pour.

Well, 1 40×100” painting down, as soon as this dries. One to go.
